Another source of pride at Blessington Sailing Club is our junior training programme. Over the years the club has taught more than 1000 young people between the ages of ten and eighteen to sail. The club has held some of the largest training courses ever, with 45 juniors participating. All achieved success in the various levels of the Irish Sailing Association's Training Programme.

A most encouraging aspect is that many of the junior members have themselves passed through the Sailing Association's rigorous Instructors Programme and are now qualified Instructors teaching in our own club and elsewhere in Ireland
